Workshops: $1000.00 per workshop (tuition includes a $100.00 fee for materials).
Critique Seminar: $60.00
Pricing Seminar: $60.00
Summer Institute Package: $1070.00. Package includes registration for one 5-day workshop and attendance of both of the seminars.
To Apply The Mills College Summer Institute for Book and Print Technologies workshops are taught at a master class level. In order to ensure that all participants are prepared for this high level and quick pace of instruction, we will only be accepting applicants with previous book art experience that is relevant to the workshop they are applying for.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until a workshop or seminar is full. A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 will be due upon acceptance to hold your spot in a workshop as well as for the Summer Institute Package. For those applying only for a seminar, a non-refundable deposit of $30.00 will be due upon acceptance to hold your spot.
The application period opens on November 15, 2016.
Applications received by December 31st, 2016 will be responded to by January 7th, 2017.
Once accepted, a non-refundable deposit of $100 for workshops & $30 for seminars is due by January 23, 2017.
Complete payment of tuition & fees is required by April 10, 2017.
Applications will continue to be accepted until workshops and seminars are full.
Once full, additional qualified applicants will have the option to be added to a waiting list.

Scholarships are available for those applicants who have graduated from a book art-related graduate program in the past five years. To receive a scholarship, eligible applicants must register for one of the 5-day workshop and one or both seminars.

Mills College is located at 5000 MacArthur Blvd, Oakland, CA 94613 off of Highway 580 in Oakland at the junction of 580 (MacArthur Freeway) and Highway 13 (Warren Freeway), approximately seven miles from the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.
